”…the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God (the Father), and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” (2Cor 13:13) This Trinitarian blessing has been a greeting of the presider at Mass for many years. As such, we have come to realize that through the grace experienced in Christ Jesus we know the love of the Father (1 John 3:16) and our oneness with God and God's people as given by the Holy Spirit. The beginning of our spiritual journey began as we are baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Our journey is lived out in the shadow of this Trinitarian God as we cry out “Abba” and “Father”- our daddy, when we come to know personally Jesus as our brother and savior, when we are led by “the Spirit Himself who gives witness with our spirit that we are children of God (Rom 8:16). Yes, our God is a tremendous lover and we are the beloved! Let us be quick to enter into a deeper personal relationship with these three persons who are our God. Let's pray for a spirit of revelation to continue revealing to us the awesome God that we serve. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen and Amen!…..pray for me please, Fr. Dan
